Just as Zeke starts to relax, life interferes with Ray’s plans Lee, the teenage organist from St. Mark's, tells his parents that he was abused as a teenager by a prominent congregation member from his old church, and Ray becomes the target of bullies at school and has to worry about his own job. With the specter of what happened to Zeke hanging over him, Ray must protect Lee and his own reputation, all while trying to convince Zeke that he doesn’t need to run away when their relationship grows more intense.

I love Sue Brown and have read many of her books. This series is wonderful and this book is a great addition. It was jam back of surprises. There are many OMG moments as well as many bittersweet. Ray and Zeke are great characters. Zeke needed Ray and it was great to see how they both evolved. It is also always a pleasure to see the other guys especially Luke and Noah. Luke's charm is always funny, Simon is a saint..LOL!!...and I would love Noah to be my pastor.I got to say without giving too much away but if you read the other books you know that the prejudice is so vile. That some points in this book had me cheering even if it was inappropiate. It is infuriating to hear and know in our world that there is that much hate especially from "God-fearing people". It is unfortunately a fact though. Sue Brown holds no punches with that realization. I highly recommend this book and series. I am so looking forward to the next one!!!

Enjoyed this book. Love Sue Browns writing. This book is a worthy follow on to others in the series. Enjoyable plot and themes. Good read
I found this book to be a very good read. It held my attention from beginning to the end and it's amazing how people can have so much HATE in their heart and claims to be CHRISTIANS
Sue Brown likes to make me cry! I swear she does. As ever, this book is well written. I loved Ray and Zeke. My heart broke for young Lee. Definitely Recommend.
Gawd I love Sue Brown's books. Oh hell, I LOVE Sue Brown. This is an excellent addition to the continuing saga to the Luke and Simon, Lost Cow Ranch and the enire gang stories. Be sure to have plenty of kleenex on hand because this story will pull at your heart strings. Well done Sue, well done! ) <3
CHANNEL as rafters ZEKE & RAY are TRUE to LIFE. Sad that a caring adult Teacher misses
signals RIGHT in front of HIM. ZEKE learns 2trust re-establish His bond with HIS 2children & ex-wife.
Wow, what a great story. I've loved the others in this series, the relationships between all of these men and the people who support them is wonderful to read about.
Zeke is so lonely and tortured, and so desperate for attention, Ray is the perfect patient understanding man for him. Watching Zeke come out of his shell with Ray's help was just perfect. I loved the glimpses of the other boys as well, so happy to see they are all hanging in there.

I am a huge fan of Sue Brown and all her work! Papa's Boy is the third book in the Morning Report series and it was as good as the other two. I loved Ray and his devotion to God, friends, and Zeke. Throughout the story he continued to be true to himself in all aspects of life. Ms. Brown delivered a beautiful saga that could easily have been found in any small-town USA. Zeke' tortured soul emanated from the pages and kept me interested throughout the entire story. I could not put it down until I slid my last page.
Poignant drama, God-fearing people, and homophobia are just a snippet of what awaits you in the book. Luke & Simon and Noah & Tommy (among others), also play integral roles in Papa's Boy as life on the Low Cow Ranch is never dull. I highly recommend this book. The story is wonderful, the men are hunks and the sex is hot!
